JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer 3 - Assembly and Installation

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

PAY RATE: $68/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Create and refine aircraft zonal build plans, mitigating risks and developing sequence-based execution plans

• Lead change/design change build implementation: assess build plan impacts, mitigate risks, and influence producibility

• Consult and advise stakeholders, driving engagement in build plan development and execution

• Drive innovation and data analytics to support continuous improvement

• Monitor overall condition of the airplane, acting as a bridge between design, build plan, and product

• Support loadable software and related configuration management tasks

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners; oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes

• Achieve build integration processes and build plan milestones

• Champion processes to functional organizations and stakeholders

• Lead collaboration and integration across affected commodities

• Capture lessons learned and provide feedback to enhance the build integration process

• Attend technical review meetings for design changes and provide build impact assessments and recommendations

• Compile impact assessment inputs from commodity engineers to support the process

• Support other platforms as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science

• ABET accreditation preferred but not required

• 2+ years experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

• 2+ years experience supporting development of technical data packages for aircraft parts and components

• 2+ years experience utilizing professional/technical writing and collaborating to solve technical issues

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance

• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Electrical background (wire installation experience a plus)

• Build integration experience

• Experience with IVT

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with CATIA and GoldEsp
