COVID-19 Activities

The Bahrain KMCC – Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre, leading Social Cultural Charity Organization give solace to expatriates and residents alike as the fear of the COVID -19 spreads across Bahrain. The group is providing relief and support to the needy and the mentally depressed peoples at this unprecedented situation. The Bahrain KMCC join hands with the Capital Governorate, LMRA Bahrain and other well-wishers carrying out preventive and non-indigenous activities at this uncertain period and has formed various sub-committees to perform the same under the umbrella of KMCC.

We had distributed free face masks and run awareness program proactively when the first case was reported in Bahrain. Therefore, it was possible to alert the expatriates about the virus and advised them to take the necessary precautions before it spreads. Hundreds of our volunteers have volunteered for this project by risking their life but by strictly following the MOH / WHO guidelines. In the first instance, our volunteers were confronted with migrant workers who are in agonizing situation in their labor camps at various parts of Bahrain, and we were able to find out solutions to their problems and provided free masks as they need.
